Tortolita Middle School was honored to host Governing Board Members Mrs. Cathie Raymond and Mr. Roy Alexander, along with Superintendent Dr. Dan Streeter, for a special campus visit that offered an inside look at daily life for students and staff.

Principal Jessica Franklin guided the group through a “day in the life” at Tortolita, sharing insights into the school’s culture, classroom instruction, and the dedication that drives student success.

During their visit, board members and Dr. Streeter spent time meeting with a wide range of support staff, including food services, maintenance, instructional aides, secretaries, and leadership teachers, to hear directly about their roles, challenges, and the important contributions they make every day.

The visit also included classroom walk-throughs, where they had the chance to speak with students, observe learning in action, and experience the engaging, hands-on instruction happening across campus.

Tortolita was proud to showcase the teamwork, commitment, and positivity that define the school community. The visit served as a meaningful opportunity to highlight the incredible people who make Tortolita Middle School a supportive and thriving place to learn.
