MUSD Hosts Band and Orchestra Blast-Off Workshop!

MUSD hosted its annual Band and Orchestra Blast-Off Workshop for all new 5th grade band and orchestra students on August 24. This year our amazing district music teachers taught almost 500 new musicians their first lesson on their instruments! The new musicians performed their first stage concert and were accompanied by fellow Marana High School and Mountain View High School musicians..  It was wonderful to see the confidence grow in our 5th graders as the day progressed. We can't wait to see them grow even more in the next eight years of playing!
