April 4 Parent Group Update

Spring Events!

As the end of the school year quickly approaches, we have several exciting events coming up where you can contribute time or resources. We understand this is a lot, but we know that Tortolita has an amazing community that can make these events a huge success! This information will also be shared with all parents and caregivers through the weekly newsletter.

1. Spring Craft Fair - Saturday, April 12
We’re looking for volunteers to help with vendor setup, maintaining cleanliness, running the silent auction tables, and teardown. Please use this Sign Up Genius to sign up for a shift. If you’re interested in participating as a vendor, reach out to Cindy or me, and we’ll send you all the details. Help us spread the word about the Craft Fair to friends, family, and coworkers!

2. Epic Celebration for Students (End-of-Year Incentive Celebration) - Friday, May 2
This event celebrates students for their hard work and improvement. Please consider signing up for a shift or donating supplies using Sign Up Genius. We’re also seeking volunteers to help the night before the Craft Fair to make cotton candy for sale during the event.

3. Staff Appreciation Week - May 5-9
Let’s show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate them! We need volunteers for lunch supervision, donations of snacks for the snack cart, and volunteers to “drive” the snack and drink cart around the school. Your support will make a big difference!

New Name! Cougar Community Group (CCG)

We’re excited to announce that our boosters/PTO group has officially chosen a name and logo: Cougar Community Group (CCG). This new identity is intended to foster a sense of collaboration and connection within the Tortolita community for this year and beyond. Check out our new logo below!
